Since friends and family have been asking me about setting up their new Macs, I figured I’d compile some of the stuff that I do/like/use for anybody wandering in from a Google search, or just from. I keep all of these browsers available, and use Safari primarily. Using Firefox shreds my battery. Chrome uses lots of RAM in my use case.If you encounter web errors, always try disabling ad-block and other extensions before trying other troubleshooting.

It's super convenient to have available as an option! So as an example: I'm booted to MacOS.

I'm verifying a drawing on AutoCAD inside of my (fusion/parallels) virtual machine, and I run into a portion of the design that is too big for my VM to handle. I save my work, restart into Bootcamp, and finish verifying the drawing no problem no work lost. I then send it off to the drafting team, and restart back into MacOS no problem.

If I only had access to Windows in a VM, I'd have to deal with an extra hour in rendering and slowdowns. This way, you get the best of both worlds when you need it!.
