The Thread Of Tears For Mac
So I'm trying to get my VersaCopter up and running. I am on a Mac running Yosemite 10.10.5. I Have the CleanFlight Configurator running on Google Chrome. I plug in the board. I select the firmware for the Naze version 1.9.0 I click load firmware (online). I then click Flash Firmware. 'No response from the boot loader, programming: failed.'

I have shorted the boot pads and plugged in the board, then checked the box for no reboot sequence. 'No response from the boot loader, programming: failed. I have not connected anything and still get 'No response from the boot loader, programming: failed.' I'm curious about that. I downloaded and installed the CP210x USB to UART Bridge VCP Drivers and rebooted my machine. I tried again 'No response from the boot loader, programming: failed.'

Does anyone know of the correct process for Flashing the Naze on a Mac? I Googled and really came up short. I don't get it. Why is this so hard? Seems like it should be easier. Thank You everyone! It was indeed the cable.

Another valuable lesson learned. Looking for social facebook im client for mac. I had a hunch last night that may have been the case, but i did not have another cable to try, so my brain dismissed it? I really need to rethink that approach!!!
If things aren't happening according to logic, something is wrong and needs to be corrected. I second guess myself quite a bit when doing techy things. No confidence in that area. I have a sound approach troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, but tech seems to baffle me. Cables that aren't actual usb data cables should be Orange or something!
